Switching

Bring your ticket history with you

Kerux imports conversations, customers and internal notes from Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout and Freshdesk, with their original dates, so switching doesn't mean starting from an empty inbox.

Four helpdesks

Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout and Freshdesk, through each one's own API.

History, not new work

Imported conversations keep their dates and show up in each customer's history. The AI never answers them, and they don't trigger alerts or SLA timers.

Safe to run twice

Pause and resume whenever you like. Running it again skips anything already imported, so nothing is duplicated.

Your credentials aren't kept

The API key you paste is used for that import only and is never saved.

How it works

  1. 1Sign up and open Settings → Import tickets as an owner or admin.
  2. 2Pick your old helpdesk and paste its API credentials. The page shows where to find them.
  3. 3Press Start and keep the tab open while it runs. Large histories take a while; you can pause and resume.
  4. 4Forward your support address to Kerux so new email arrives there too.
Good to know
  • Attachments aren't imported. Messages, customers and internal notes are.
  • Freshdesk's API lists up to 7,500 tickets per import, oldest first.
  • Help-center articles move separately, as Markdown files.
